As various motorsports seasons start to ramp up, coronavirus is making a bigger impact. MotoGP has cancelled their season opener next weekend, some teams experienced delays traveling to the Formula 2 pre-season test, while ART Grand Prix Renault Junior Driver Christian Lundgaard will miss this year’s Formula 2 testing after being stuck in quarantine in Tenerife.
Ferrari is expressing concerns about the impact to the season and the ability of all the Italian teams to travel to races as concerns continue to rise over the outbreak in Italy. Meanwhile Chase Carey insists that the Vietnamese Grand Prix will not be impacted - although the track is finished and ready to host F1.
