If you just looked at the results of this week's race, it looks like everything went exactly like many expected it, and that this was a pretty dull processional race. The truth is, this week's British Grand Prix will be one that will be talked about for years.
But there was much more going on this weekend - including the possibility that Aston Martin is looking at an F1 return with yet another team shifting to Mercedes engines. Renault also appears to be looking for a route back to fielding a team.
Those of us watching the sport are pretty much in agreement, Kimi Raikonnen's seat at Ferrari is in play, the question is who will replace him.
The F1 Strategy Group met this week, and they decided on some changes for 2017 - but they won't tell us what they are, although we do know that changes to clutch control is coming for Spa this year.
